Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for your next opportunity? We’re working with a reputable SME in Leicester to recruit a Legal Cashier for a full-time, permanent role. As a Legal Cashier, you’ll play a vital role in managing the financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules and contributing to the smooth running of the firm’s accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily transactions, including client and office accounts.
• Reconciling bank accounts and preparing financial reports.
• Processing payments, receipts, and transfers in compliance with SRA regulations.
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns.
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and assisting with audits.
• Handling queries from clients and staff regarding financial matters.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
• A solid understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and compliance requirements.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Competitive salary: £27,000 – £35,000, depending on experience.
