Accounts Assistant – AAT Study Support – Hinkley – Full-Time Permanent – £23,000 – £25,000

I am collaborating with an SME business located near Hinkley, Leicestershire, to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will join the company, study AAT, and undertake a variety of finance duties that will progress in scope as you complete examinations and gain hands-on experience. Initially, you will provide support for the purchase and sales ledger, with eventual progression into payroll and management accounts responsibilities.

About You: This role is ideally suited for individuals to start on their AAT journey or those who have already begun or completed Level 1. You may currently hold positions such as Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, Purchase or Sales Ledger Clerk, or even Credit Controller, and you are seeking a more diversified role with promising progression prospects. Additionally, we welcome applicants from a practice background aiming to transition into industry. Prior experience in a financial setting is a must for this role.

Requirements:

• Experience in a financial environment, be it in industry or practice.
• Proficiency in IT, with experience in accounting software being advantageous. Currently enrolled in or prepared to commence AAT qualification.
