Bookkeeper / VAT Professional
A leading regional accountancy firm are recruiting for a VAT professional, to join their team at their Derby office. The firm are a significant practice which have offices across the midlands.
Applicants with VAT experience gained from an accountancy firm is advantageous, but those with more general bookkeeping experience are also welcome to apply.
The role
In this position you will handle numerous parts of VAT management and compliance. The role will involve bookkeeping and plenty of client contact.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Deal with VAT transactions, invoices, reconciliations and more
- Complete bookkeeping duties for clients
- Use IT software including Sage and Xero
