Bjorn Jones Hosts Bank of England Roundtable in Nottingham

Bjorn Jones, Director at Blusource, hosted another successful Roundtable update and discussion with the Bank of England at Cleaver & Wake in Nottingham.  The event was co-hosted with Actons Solicitors with specially invited guests including business owners and Finance Directors in the East Midlands.

A lot of discussion points were covered, including the impacts of the budget; how many planned salary rises have been scaled back due to the increase in NI costs; as well as how interests rates are likely to track over the next 12 months.

It certainly seems like businesses have become more resilient, and whilst certain sectors have more challenges than others, overall there is a general feeling that the increase in business confidence seen in the couple of months leading up to the budget will return next year and companies will get on with putting their plans in place to facilitate growth.
