Update with the Governor of the Bank of England

It was a privilege to have Andrew Bailey, the Governor of the Bank of England on our latest Economic Update and Virtual Roundtable session, with selected guests representing businesses across the East Midlands.

Following the introduction where attendees shared their experiences from their own businesses over the past few months, Andrew gave a wider economic update, giving the Bank of England’s view on the economy.

There were some great questions from the attendees along with insights and experiences that the Governor felt were worth highlighting to the Chancellor.
