Golf in Society - Charity Support

For a company that likes networking, organising events, meeting new people and supporting good causes, 2020 has certainly been a very different year for Blusource as it has been for everyone.

As we enter another phase of greater lockdowns, life will continue to be difficult for many, not just financially, but also from a mental health and loneliness perspective. 

An email and a timely follow up call from David Thornton at Golf in Society certainly struck a chord.  As a golfer myself who felt the benefits of outdoor sports very strongly coming out of lockdown, I can imagine how much of a difference the sport can make for old and vulnerable people dealing with issues such as Dementia and Parkinson’s.  Have a look at the website below to see how they really help transform lives.

Golf in Society’s next project is with Coxmoor Golf Club, in partnership with Ashfield District Council and other 3^rd sector organisations such as Dementia Forward and they need to raise £10,000 to make it work.
