Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant

A firm of Accountants based in Grantham are seeking to recruit a Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant job position.  

The job can be hired either full time OR part time, with the salary negotiable as it will depend on experience and qualification level.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping
• Tax returns – experience of personal and corporate tax useful or this area can be trained on.
• Final accounts preparation / statutory year-end
• VAT returns and office workflow monitoring
• Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review.

Ideal Candidate:

• Basic accounting system knowledge and/or Excel skills
• Some ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders and partnerships to draft stage
• A positive, enthusiastic team player
