Trainee Accountant and Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant

A leading accountancy firm employer are seeking to hire for 2 jobs in their offices based within a short commute from Huntingdon, St Ives and North Cambridge. They are seeking a Junior/Trainee Accountant AND a Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant. Both salaries are negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, being open within reason.

The firm offer hybrid working as well as full study-support for the relevant candidate. This can be for the AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications.

The duties of both roles include:

• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as part of year-end accounts preparation
• Being a primary point of contact for clients, communicating via email and telephone
• Dealing with wide variety of client queries
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Assisting managers with finalising books for year-end accounts

Ideally you will have the following skills:

• Experience gained from working in an accountancy practice (semi-senior to Senior vacancy)
