We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established and reputable regional Accountancy practice based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with proven practice experience to further their career in a dynamic and thriving environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

Accounts Preparation: Preparing year end accounts and management accounts for a range of clients.

Tax Compliance: Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns, including VAT returns, corporation tax, and self-assessment tax returns. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and providing guidance to clients accordingly.

Client Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial needs. Providing proactive advice and guidance to help clients improve their financial performance and achieve their goals.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with the accounting team to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. QBE candidates will be considered
• Proven experience working within an Accountancy practice
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
