Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant

We are actively recruiting for an exciting job opportunity with a leading employer and accountancy firm in Huntingdon, at either a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant level. Salary is open, dependent on experience and this firm offer flexible hours, great offices, strong study support and regular career development and salary rise reviews, aimed to reward and keep their best staff.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies for subsequent partner review
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Ad-hoc preparation of management accounts
• Involvement in Audit engagements
• Assisting with statutory work and filings

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification desirable
• Possess working knowledge of Excel / Word / and cloud accounting software
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently and as part of the team
