Semi-Senior Accountant or Senior Accounts and Audit Mixed Job

An excellent opportunity has arisen at an accountancy firm in Spalding who are looking to hire from a Semi-Senior, up to Senior Accountant level in a mixed accounts and audit job. The role is likely to be 60% accounts with 40% of the role in audit as audits tend to be busier during March and September. This allows for a more well-rounded role, and can offer excellent career progression, as well as competitive salaries.

About the role:

Your role will include the following:

• Reporting to the Audit & Accounts Manager
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies in a wide range of industries
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Using cloud accounting packages such as QuickBooks and Xero. Experience is desired but full training is provided to enable you to become a certified advisor in both.
• Addressing client queries and providing support when required.
• Opportunity to assist with statutory audits and visiting clients onsite.
• Supporting trainee members of the team to help them develop their knowledge.

About you
