Practice Accountant

Semi Seniors or Trainees with genuine practice experience will be considered, with the firm hiring up to Experienced Accountant level. People with relevant experience but no accounting qualifications are equally encouraged to apply.

The role would see you working in a friendly team, with the ability to work independently, but be well-supported by management and colleagues where needed.

The main job duties include: 

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies,

• Assisting senior accountants on audit assignments (optional)

• Preparation of draft corporate tax computations,

• Preparation of management accounts,

• Prioritising workload effectively to meet set deadlines,

• Working with varying software packages including Sage, Xero & Quickbooks,

• Able to carry out ad-hoc assignments, when required.
