They are a small family run accountancy firm, consisting of clients on their books which they do accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and payroll for.
They support businesses from anywhere between small start-ups to large well-established business, along with everything in-between. In addition, they work with sole traders and partnerships as well, ensuring your day-to-day role will be varied.
The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level.
Job Description – Payroll Professional
About the role:
The firm are seeking specific support within their payroll department. Ideally, the firm would like a payroller to work alongside the other payroll members of staff to allow the rest of the team to move back across the business to their accounts-based work. There is scope for this role to include accounts and bookkeeping and offer support across the business where necessary, should this be of interest to the suitable candidate.
It is worth noting this role will be 100% office based.
Responsibilities:
- Processing & administration of monthly & weekly payrolls, including management reporting & statutory filings including FPS, EPS, P45, Starter Declarations and End of Year Declarations and P60’s.
- Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed to the highest standards within legislated guidance and deadlines.
- Completion of the month and year end payroll processes.
- Liaison with client contacts to answer queries and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
- Manage all aspects of payroll processing for a range of clients.
- Handle queries related to payroll from clients and HM Revenue & Customs via email or phone.
- Processing employee salaries starters and leavers.
- Input and submit auto-enrolment pension data onto third party pension software systems.
Requirements:
- Competent payroll administrator with experience of multiple payroll processing.
