 Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of site manufacturing operations. This includes monitoring production costs, analysing variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting:
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems.
• Monitor and analyse production costs, including raw materials, labour, and overhead.
• Perform cost variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
• Work closely with the production team to understand and manage cost drivers.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements and reports related to manufacturing operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Inventory Management
• Operational Analysis

 The Successful Applicant

 The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or Part Qualified 
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organisational and discipline skills, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative approach, building strong relationships, influencing key stakeholders, and challenging constructively.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel for data analysis

What’s on Offer
