Group Accountant – Ross-on-Wye – Hybrid Working – £40,000 – £50,000

About the Client:
Our client is a globally renowned corporation, and this role will see you supporting the Financial Controller with the UK group of companies. This multi-faceted company operates in conjunction with the commercial construction industry, serving some of the world’s largest businesses.

About the Role:
As a Group Accountant, you will play a key role in various accounting responsibilities, collaborating closely with the FC. Your responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts across the group.
• Consolidation of financial results for the group, complete with in-depth analysis and commentary.
• Management of group budget processes, working closely with non-finance stakeholders to generate budget figures.
• Providing support for year-end accounting and audits.

About You:

We welcome applications from both part- and fully-qualified CIMA, ACCA, and ACA candidates. Experience in consolidated accounts is vital for success in this role. Key qualifications and experience include:

• Proficiency in P&L and balance sheet, including tax, direct, and indirect.
• Part or fully CIMA, ACCA, or ACA-qualified.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• A strong understanding of UK GAAP.
