Finance Manager

Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

I’m recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a successful and rapidly growing business in Derbyshire, commutable from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the business continues to invest in both its people and infrastructure, making this an exciting time to join. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll become a key part of the senior finance team, helping to lead the department while playing an important role in the company’s next phase of growth.

As Finance Manager, you’ll:

• Lead, coach and support the finance team
• Review monthly management accounts and reporting
• Oversee the month-end process and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
• Strengthen financial controls and improve finance processes
• Support the Head of Finance with business improvement projects
• Provide technical guidance and support across the wider finance function

You’ll ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or be in the final stages of your qualification
• Previous Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant experience
• Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing a finance team
• Comfortable working within a growing SME environment
• A proactive, commercial and hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement
