Assistant Accountant
Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for a Term Time only working pattern based on the East side of Birmingham near to Solihull and Coleshill and easy to reach from Coventry?

Blusource Recruitment has teamed up with an organisation within the Education sector in their search for an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant.
What are we looking for?
- Good understanding of the Balance Sheet; profit and loss as well as Deferred Income and Accrued Income.
- VAT experience would be great.
- Some experience of Fixed Assets Register.
- Experience in supporting month-end and year-end processes, with a focus on management accounts.
- Skills and ability to independently reconcile balance sheet items.
- Experience working in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level or above (Essential).
- A team player
- Ability to use finance software packages.
