Accounts Semi Senior to Assistant Manager
We are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to Assistant Manager to join a successful, independent, and growing accountancy practice based in the Peterborough area. This role is suitable for a part-qualified, qualified, or qualified-by-experience accountant looking to progress within a supportive and flexible firm.
This Accounts Semi Senior to Assistant Manager position offers a modern, open-plan working environment with close Director involvement and a strong focus on client service and teamwork. Hybrid working is available, typically one day per week from home, alongside clear progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities – Accounts Semi Senior to Assistant Manager:
- Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparation of self-assessment and corporation tax returns
- Preparation and review of management accounts
- Working with cloud-based accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing work of junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with owner-managed and entrepreneurial clients
- Occasional travel to client premises as required
