Accountant - Senior to Manager

This accountancy firm are hiring a key job role for a Senior Accountant through to Manager grade, in a successful small practice, experiencing strong growth in clients currently, based close to Hucknall, Arnold and accessible from Nottingham and Mansfield.

They are a great group of people who offer a mixed role, which can offer progression and study support (if needed).

The firm mainly have office-based working and use IT systems including IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero. 

The job can be full or part time, depending on the successful applicant, so, the salary is open therefore, within reason.

The firm are in conveniently located offices, use modern IT techniques and have a vibrant culture where they value their staff.

The firm offer car parking, flexible start and finish times, a laptop and holiday allowance rising by 1 day for every year. Salary is open within reason, dependent on your skills and experience. The firm would judge that during interview.

Duties may include:

• Monthly/Quarterly management accounting
• Meetings with clients 
• Communication with and possible ownership of a portfolio of clients covering all aspects of accounting and tax services. 
• Training and mentoring more junior staff
• Year-end statutory accounts preparation
• Corporation tax calculations
• Personal tax calculations and finalising self-assessment returns ready for submission
• CIS calculations and submissions
• Payroll processing (possible)
