Accountant - Assistant Manager to Manager (Audit and Accounts)
A leading accountancy firm, in Leicester are hiring into a key position, an Audit and Accounts Manager to support their teams and increasing client demands.
This is a key leadership role within the firm, overseeing one of their Audit and Accounts teams.
Role Highlights:
- Leading and managing audits from planning through to completion
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Managing a diverse client portfolio
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service
- Role split: approximately 75% Audit / 25% Accounts
- Most audits are local and completed within standard working hours – no extended travel or late nights
Salary: Dependent on experience and judged by the firm at interview, but generous salary and package on offer.

- They are office based predominantly, although Assistant Manager and Manager levels can do remote work (such as a day a week, subject to other support being in the office), but it’s not a contractual hybrid option.
