Part-Qualified to Senior Accountant

We are actively recruiting into a career opportunity with an accountancy firm in Cambridge, who are looking for a Practice Accountant, with the role open from Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior Accountant through to Senior Accountant level, joining this ICAEW registered firm of Chartered Accountants. They are a well-respected practice, offering accounting and taxation advice to a wide variety of clients.

Requirements:

The firm are looking for 1 or 2 people to join their team.

Applicants must have experience of working in an accountancy practice and the firm can support study for those studying AAT / ATT or working towards ACCA / ACA. They do offer self-study support too.

Responsibilities:

The role would include but not be exclusive to:

• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Accounts preparation right from receiving records to draft stage
• Auditing (flexible, this can be included or not, dependent on your preference and experience)
• Personal Tax
• Corporation Tax
• Very occasional administrative support

• Competitive salary – the firm are willing to hire up to a Senior Accountants, so candidates at that level might be paid in the late £30’s / circa £40K.
