Payroll Administrator/ Bookkeeper
A successful and friendly accountancy firm commutable from Derby, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Belper, Alfreton and the surrounding areas are seeking to hire into a mixed Payroll / Bookkeeping role.
This role can be either part-time or full-time, but will ideally be spread across 5 working days. The firm use Sage software for both payroll and bookkeeping, so any experience of using this software would preferred. The workload is weighted 70/30 in favour of payroll over bookkeeping, reflected in the job information below:
If Part-Time (circa 20-30 hours per week):
This will be a part-time standalone payroll position, processing payroll and dealing with pension schemes for a small portfolio of clients.
If Full-Time:
A full-time role will include the above payroll duties plus bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients. Those who are capable, will prepare management accounts, but training can be provided for those who are keen to progress their skillset.
