This full-time, permanent role will see you as the head of management and financial accounting functions overseeing the provision of financial information, insight and support to the trust. This fantastic role offers a very flexible hybrid working pattern but there will be some travel to their state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that embodies the values of the Trust based in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

This new Head of Finance position is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader to join this great finance team and support them as they continue to develop their mindset of continual process improvement. As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the financial and management accounting teams, overseeing the trust’s accounting processes. You will work closely with the CFO and other key senior leaders in the trust to provide financial insight aiding with the organisation’s decision-making processes.

If you are an experienced accountant who has been a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or even Finance Director, and has experience with people management as well as excellent hands-on financial reporting skills, this is a role which will offer you both challenge and purpose.

- Production of Statutory Accounting
- Proactively lead the financial planning and budgeting process
- Regular reporting for executive and senior leadership teams
- Lead and develop the management & financial accounts team, purchase ledger and VAT Teams
- Analyse financial performance and its contribution to short, medium and long-term business planning and forecasts

- CIMA/ACA OR ACCA qualified
- Experience in statutory account experience
- People management skills
- Stakeholder management experience
- Strong forecasting and budgeting expertise
- Excellent analytical skill set with the ability to communicate findings to all levels.

The salary banding is £60,000 – £62,000 and there are the additional benefits of:
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holiday) rising to 28 after 2 years of service and the ability to buy extra

- 6% pension contribution when you pay 4%
