A new role, a great role, a chance to make a difference and create a proper HR function for the UK division of an International business, based near Alfreton.
Reporting into the European Head of HR, you will be responsible for putting in solid foundations for the UK HR function. You will be responsible for planning and initiating change; improving HR processes and become the go-to person in HR for the UK function.
You will have significant all round experience, able to coach operational managers and assist them with performance reviews and any disciplinaries; and become connected with the people across the business.
TUPE experience will be highly beneficial and this company has strong growth plans, both by organic growth and acquisition.
You will be joining a business with a great culture, but one that hasn't had a fully operational HR function in the past, so you will have the opportunity to make it your own. Whilst the company is part of a bigger international business, you will have a lot of autonomy and be involved in implementing new systems as they are looking for someone who can take ownership of the function.
