The position involves managing personal tax and trust clients, comprising of large family office groups, high net worth individuals and family trusts.

Overseeing a team of junior staff, reviewing their work, working with fellow managers across the business and developing your team.

Ongoing training will be provided, including the opportunity to attend the firm's annual tax conference and to attend both internal and external training sessions.

This is a challenging and interesting role which provides a good range of work, for someone with a solid tax background wishing to build on their experience and help manage a successful and growing personal tax and trust team.

The work includes self-assessment tax returns for wealthy individuals, partnership and trusts; associated tax computations including CGT calculations on securities, chattels and property transactions; completion of estate tax returns; and all related and complex aspects of looking after


The role provides a variety of work as the corporate client portfolio is varied and includes OMB's, SME's and groups (including international groups).

Duties will include dealing with the compliance aspects of the tax work, including review of tax returns and computations, running a portfolio of clients, providing tax advice to clients and involvement with tax planning and projects.

The successful candidate would also be required to run a portfolio of P11D clients and be involved in associated advice.

The individual will be expected to take on some responsibility for junior staff and assist with their training and development.
