This accountancy firm are seeking to recruit a job that can be HOME BASED OR OFFICE BASED. The firm are interested in hiring either someone who would work in the office but they are also open to bringing someone in who could collect client's records and then work from home. The firm use sage systems largely and offer a friendly working environment. To a degree they can arrange the job to suit the person. The firm are not able to offer study support for this role.
* Main duties are to prepare accounts for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders from a variety of clients records ranging from perfectly maintained ledger records to clients bringing in only bags of invoices and bank statements.
* Responsible for preparing the accounts to a stage where they could be reviewed by the partner, which may involve contacting the client or book keeper and resolving the majority of queries beforehand.
* Preparing either a corporation tax computation for limited companies or trade computations for partnerships and sole traders. Potentially preparing the self-assessment returns for the relevant directors and proprietors.
