Job Description

A leading accountancy brand in Leicester are seeking to hire into crucial positions in their Payroll team, with jobs available at anywhere from Payroll Assistant through to Payroll Manager level.

**The more senior opportunity is a Payroll Manager, which will be a mix of "doing" and "managing" both the work and client relationships. You will work to grow the payroll department, with all work done on Sage payroll currently.

**The Payroll Assistant is available to people who ideally have experience in a bureau or accountancy practice environment, but people with solid payroll experience will be considered.

The firm have a growing payroll team and have experienced real demand overall during 2020 and particularly with payroll. In the firm's payroll team, payroll department, with all work done on Sage payroll currently.

* Undertaking payroll functions, with payrolls for multiple clients
* Covering weekly, monthly and 4-weekly payrolls
* Collating timesheets and attendance records from clients working in various sectors
* Processing starters and leavers
* Calculating statutory payments
* Dealing with Pension Auto Enrolment
* Calculating and informing clients of PAYE liabilities

They have a flexi policy - you can flex the start and end times by an hour, on an occasional basis, and likewise lunch can be up to two hours. You can also request to amend your set working pattern, as usual.

The salary will totally depend on experience and qualifications of the person hired but they certainly pay competitively.
