Job Description

A forward thinking and innovative firm in Lincoln is looking to hire a capable Payroll and Bookkeeping professional to do work for varying clients.

Our client is a friendly firm with a superb office environment and they are looking for a bright, ambitious and IT savvy individual to join their vibrant team. You will ideally have experience gained from working in a firm of accountants but people without that but with bookkeeping / payroll ability and a good level of IT competence can be taught and developed with on the job training.

The role: Payroll and Bookkeeping Professional:

* Book-keeping (Sales/Purchase ledgers, cash and bank reconciliation and VAT returns).
* Accounts to trial balance.
* Using Sage 50 and Sage 1 accounting software.
* Payroll on a weekly, four-weekly and monthly basis for a variety of clients

The firm pay very competitively in the local market and are well known for having excellent staff retention.

Applicants with strong bookkeeping or payroll knowledge are sought and those with very good computer skills will be at an advantage.
