Job Description

An insolvency specialist in Nottingham are seeking to hire into an Insolvency Administrator job role, available for anyone with proven experience from 1 years plus, through to a more experienced level.

This firm are business advisors and insolvency specialists, supporting local clients and those referred by accountants and legal contacts. The company does personal and corporate insolvency procedures and business recovery.

This firm are seeking to hire a motivated and experienced Insolvency Administrator and will support the right candidate to further progress their career in insolvency.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Upholding statutory and regulatory compliance
* Supporting the Insolvency Practitioners and directors as required and over time, being given autonomy over decisions on cases
* Maintaining an excellent level of service with all stakeholders
* Ensuring the progression of a portfolio of insolvency cases, including regular file reviews
* Drafting section 100/SIP 6 and other reports as required by statute
* Preparation of Declarations of Solvency, Statements of Affairs, deficiency accounts and other financial statements
* Realising assets
* Undertaking SIP 2 investigations, identifying relevant issues and liaising with the Insolvency Practitioners, solicitors and agents in respect of civil recovery action
* Completing director conduct reports and liaising with the Secretary of State as appropriate
* Keeping compliance spreadsheets updated
* Dealing with employee claims and pensions
* Attending site where required in insolvency cases
* Recording time spent on a regular basis and ensuring it is consistent with the proper performance of work
* Networking and business development as required



OTHER INFORMATION



* Hours of work if full time 37.5 hours per week, but hours may be flexible and are negotiable
* Working days are Monday to Friday if full time
* Home working available to right candidate
* Travel allowance negotiable
* Perks include additional day off for birthday and life insurance at four times salary
* There is no requirement to travel during working hours except occasionally to the trading premises of clients
* Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year if full time, plus bank holidays
* Right candidate will be given opportunity to develop with funding available for external training and qualifications to include CPI and/or AAT and/or JIEB in due course
