We are working closely with a few of Leicester's leading accountancy firms to hire Payroll and Bookkeeping professionals at both an Assistant and Managerial level. The increased workload in these areas caused by "making tax digital" means that several firms in and around the city are seeking to bring in people to strengthen their payroll, bookkeeping and VAT services for key clients. Opportunities are available at both team member and team leader / Manager level.
If you have experience from working in an accountancy firm or have worked on multiple payrolls via self-employment or in a commercial business, that would be sought after. Some positions currently available are purely payroll focused, with others a blend of payroll for clients, bookkeeping / VAT and with one firm, a position including aspects of accountancy and taxation.
