Job Description

A leading accountancy firm in Leicester are hiring a crucial position for a Bookkeeping Manager or Senior Manager.

A responsible, varied and rewarding role in an excellent employer, the job will include:

- Migrating clients to Xero

- App integration

Advising clients on a variety of different Apps to automate their bookkeeping.

- Software Setup and Support

Working with clients to setup systems, rules and controls to make their bookkeeping process automated and accurate.

Providing ongoing support, by telephone, Teams and site visits.

- Management Accounts

Preparation of regular management accounts, including accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

Accruals, Prepayments, Depreciation, Interest, Corporation tax provisions, Stock and other journal entries as required.

Presenting and discussing the figures and KPI's with clients.

- Team Management

A large number of bookkeeping jobs are prepared internally by a team of bookkeeping staff

Working with the team manager to:

* Review internal bookkeeping jobs.
* Ensure that the team are making the most out of software and automations.
* Provide training and support to the team.
* Review team efficiencies and fees
* Year-end reviews, to provide notes for the Accounts department

- VAT compliance

Helping clients with VAT queries.

Assisting with VAT registrations, de-registrations, scheme choice and MTD compliance.

Assisting and dealing with VAT enquiry's on behalf of clients.
