Accounts Semi Senior / Senior
We have previously met with this successful and reputable accountancy firm in Loughborough and have helped them to recruit in recent years.
Continued client growth and excess work in the office means the firm now have an opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior/Senior.
They work out of smart offices, have the usual range of independent firm work but also do much more advanced work.
The firm have a strong record of supporting further professional studies where required in order for people to develop their experience towards becoming rounded accountants and business advisors.
Responsibilities and required skills
The successful applicant will be involved in all areas of accounts and taxation across a varied range of clients within the firm. The following attributes are essential:
Previous accounts and tax work experience within an accountancy practise.
Good communication skills, confident to communicate with clients on phone or email and attend client meetings as required.
Excellent information technology skills (Excel, Word and the ability to understand new software capabilities).
Good organisational skills.
Ability to work within a team and independently.
Flexible and commercial approach.
The firm is looking for a full or part time post/(s). A market rate salary will be offered, dependant on experience and qualifications. Support for accountancy qualification would be considered. For employees that participate, the firm's current employer's pension contribution is 3%. The exact nature of the role going forwards will depend on the successful candidate as to their experience, abilities and aspirations.
