Blusource HR are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a leading professional services organisation, based in Birmingham city centre and well-located with easy access to public transport links.

My client is really looking for a confident, capable and knowledgeable HR Advisor. You will be someone who has a strong working knowledge of policy and procedure, but you will also know when it is the right time to flex your style and adapt to the situation in hand.

Although you will be part of a team, you will be an independent thinker, someone who is able to use your experience and knowledge to work autonomously. You will have the confidence and gravitas to work with senior Managers and Heads of; able to hold your own, influence and build trusting relationships.

This is generalist role, a key part of which will be your ability to handle your own ER caseload and manage a case from cradle to grave. Some of these cases will be complex, so you really do need to have a good, strong ER background.

Recruitment will also be a focus, with multiple roles on at any one time. You will assist Managers with interviews, communicating the culture of the organisation and promoting their values.

In addition, you will look after applications for maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave and will manage flexible working requests. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in projects as required, e.g. supporting the HRBPs with organisational change initiatives.
