Job Description

Are you a Buyer / Procurement professional looking for a more rounded role in Derby?

This very hands-on role has full responsibility for the buying of stock for this sub £5m turnover business. You will be working with key international suppliers in China and India, but you will also oversee stock management and be a key account manager for their larger accounts and assessing their needs. You will ensure the right balance is kept between having enough stock ready for customers, but not over-ordering and being left with excess.

This a key role in the business where you will form part of the senior management team and the role has significant potential to develop further as the business does.

Other aspects to the role include compliance audits, so any experience of SMETA audits would be highly beneficial as would Health & Safety experience. Any experience around holding stock for retail clients would be ideal and working within the manufacturing or wholesale sectors.
