An established employer close to Long Eaton are offering a varied payroll and accountancy job and ideally seeking someone who has either worked in an accountancy firm or has good experience of dealing with multiple clients on payroll and bookkeeping work. Experience in sage and / or xero would be useful and part or full time hours may be possible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in a small firm of Accountants in charge of multiple client payrolls, you will be responsible for dealing with client' payrolls on a monthly and weekly basis using a Sage Payroll system and ensuring Real Time Information is submitted to H M Revenue & Customs in accordance with their regulations
* Dealing with enquiries relating to statutory payments including Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay
* Generating key reports including Company Pension data and submitting to Pension Provider
Your role will also include aspects of bookkeeping and VAT including producing VAT Returns and ensuring filing deadlines are met.
