Semi-Senior to Senior Tax Vacancy
An established firm of accountants based in Lincoln are looking for a Semi-Senior to Senior Tax candidate, to work out of their office in Lincoln, with Manager level applicants considered too. The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates and the salary is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Tax Director as required with tax advisory and tax planning.
- Mentoring junior staff, including reviewing work and supporting their training.
- Keeping up to date with taxation news and regulations, sharing knowledge with tax and accounts staff.
- Personal tax and capital gains tax compliance and advice, including preparation, review, and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns (HNWI, sole traders, partners, landlords etc) and CGT60 day reports.
- Managing workflow and tax deadlines, liaising with client portfolio owners to ensure work is completed in an efficient and timely basis.
Requirements:
- Driving Licence and access to a car due to travel to client premises.
- A positive, enthusiastic team player.
- Good organisational skills, capable of producing high quality work in which pride is taken.
- Work as part of a team.
- Experience in computation and review of IHT, Trusts and Corporation Tax is desirable but not essential.
