A well-established firm of accountants in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a diverse client portfolio.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis and providing insights to clients on financial performance, tax planning, and compliance
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice to clients

Requirements:

• AAT/ACCA qualified or part qualified. QBE candidates will be considered
• Proven experience working within an Accountancy practice
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
